Ms. Shilpi Marma

Ms. Shilpi Marma, a respected Karbari (Village Chief) and active member of the CHT Headmen Network and the Nari Headman Karbari Network, serves as an Executive Member of the Executive Committee for the term March 28, 2024, to March 27, 2027. Through her grassroots leadership, she brings in-depth understanding of indigenous governance systems, community engagement, and rural development dynamics. Ms. Marma plays an instrumental role in ensuring that the voices, priorities, and perspectives of local communities are reflected in the organization’s planning and decision-making processes. Her involvement strengthens the organization’s supports inclusive and sustainable rural livelihoods.
